Elderly homeowner shoots and kills intruder
SAN ANTONIO -- A homeowner shot and killed an intruder on the Northwest Side Thursday. Police told News 4 WOAI two males in their late teens or early 20's broke into an elderly couple's home in the 7100 block of Oakridge Drive around 1:15 p.m. One of the men used a hammer to break a sliding glass door. Once inside, he was confronted by the homeowners, who had come downstairs after hearing the sound of breaking glass. As the husband yelled at the man and asked what he was doing in his house, investigators said the wife pointed a handgun at the man and fired it.Don't mess with the old lady. Ever.
Once again, the anti-gun forces would prefer that an elderly couple face a pair of 20-something thugs with physical force alone. They would rather that elderly couple been at the mercy of two young men with no compunction about breaking into a house in the middle of the day. They would rather a law-abiding couple be terrorized by those younger and stronger rather than have access to the best tools of self defense.
Nuts to that.
Dead Goblin Count: 117
That is all.
