Time's Running Out!

Buy A Gun Day is only 11 days away!

Question: How do you turn the least favorite day of the year into one of the best?

Answer: Make Tax Day Buy A Gun Day!

As I've done in years past, I'd like to keep a running tally of everyone's Buy A Gun Day purchase. If you want to participate, send me an e-mail with either a picture of your acquisition or a link to your post detailing your BAG Day purchase. On Friday, April 15th I'll put up a compilation post for Friday Gun Pr0n with everyone's links and purchases.

In the mean time, take a guess what I'm getting...

That is all.

Taxes aren't due until Monday, April 18th this year. I'm hoping to find what I'm looking for at the gun show on Sunday the 17th. I'll let you know.

Really leaning toward one of those Polish PPsH-43 pistols, just because.

I'd take a guess, but with your Mass. Approved Gun Laws in play, I'd say a Brown Bess.

Just did the math. Lexington and Concord (you know, Jay, those old Battlefields where the Greens plan on putting in Solar Powered Wind Farms?) was on 19 April 1775, and the Declaration of Independence was published on 4 July, 1776. That was about 14.5 months long, but still several months shorter than the length of BHO's upcoming Campaign Season. But guess which one will get more page space in a Modern American History Textbook?

I'm looking at either turning in my CMP paperwork for a service grade Garand or buying one of these Gibbs Rifle Co. "updated" 1903A3's from Centerfire Systems:

You've got my pic.
Hope to have accessories by BAG Day.
BTW, I got my .45 1911 fixed. Just needed a new slide stop.

I really think you should buy one on the 15th and another on the 18th. Just to make sure all the bases are covered.

I got mine a bit early, the .308 that I'd emailed you the question about a few months ago. Ended up with a used reminington 700 SPS with a scope and bipod for a really good price. Looked all over for a Savage but none were to be found that they didn't want the crown jewels for.

I'm paying off my layaway and picking up my BAG Day gun on the 16th, because it's a real PITA to get across town to the gun store during the week.

I'll probably post photos that day.

Jumped early.
Since I don't loan the man any money during the year. I figured purchasing now beats the rush!

A new Walther PPK/S .380 which, despite nearly every review on the internet, turns out to be very tame in the recoil department. Happy happy!
