...and no one came?
Sat out in front of the convention center with a dozen or so gunbloggers waiting for the big anti-NRA protest. News reports had placed the protest between 11:30 and noon, so we were camped out at the main entrance waiting for the big protest starting at 11:30. We left at 1 after not a single sign or waft of patchouli.

Well, now its funny if those sorts do not get paid or have someone making the big bucks organizing it for them.. well they can't be bothered now can they?
Apparently about 200 or so people showed up somewhere. Bitter and a few others found them.
I guess that's what happens when the sheeple have no shepherd... er, shepherd-le.
Were there any news media there? When I lived in Ohio there were a few scheduled demonstrations (I won't name names; don't want to give 'em any press) where the media and law enforcement outnumbered the protesters and counter-protesters.
"Psst, fellow hippies. There's a shaved-head, bearded guy with an evil grin just sitting there. We may have to rethink our protest methodology."
What's that saying? Don't throw rocks at people with guns? Don't bring a sign to a gunfight? Something like that....
Jay- 2-3 of them finally showed up, per the Pitt Courier Photog...
LOL!
