Fitting...

Took this shot of one of the Magnum Research BFRs in .45/70, and the background was perfect:

There will be plenty more pictures once I get home and can use a real computer. The Eee is fine for reading e-mail and blogs, but for loading pics and such, not so much... So far the new Nikon has been awesome, taking over 400 pics so far (and I've still got a day left...). I've got a few new shiny's to show off, a whole lot of cool stuff to cover, and plenty more. For now, I'm off to the last day of the convention, and a super special exhibit at the very end (more to come...)

And "Ouch" is right...

That is all.

Uh, Jay, unless I'm sorely mistaken, that isn't a Magnum Research BFR. Looks more like a Century Mfg Model 100 or whatever they're calling the latest incarnation of it. Unless MR bought the rights to it and threw the BFR name over to the new gun instead of calling it the EBFR.

As someone that has both a BFR and a Model 100, I'll refrain from inflicting nauseating detail on the differences...
Here's a shot that'll put it in perspective: http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q201/Molasses_photos/Century/MVC-019F.jpg

Keep on having a good time at the convention and telling about it for all of us that can't be there!

Duh-oh!
Helps to know what's what. In my photo listed in the last comment, from top to bottom, it's: PC .500 S&W, Century Mfg Mdl 100 .45-70 sixgun and the skinny one on the bottom is the 5-shooter BFR .45-70.
