Happy Mother's Day. Some deride it as a "Hallmark Holiday" designed to sell greeting cards and overpriced roses. Others feel that every day should be Mother's Day, that the women who gave us life deserve special recognition the other 364 days of the year, too. Most fall somewhere in between, observing the special bond between a mother and her child, and realizing that every mom is also a unique individual, a sum of her parts, more than just a womb with a view.
Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there, especially to Mom G.!
