Cops: Teen fatally shot trying to rob off-duty cop
An off-duty Chicago police officer dressed up as a clown for a South Side fundraiser shot and killed a teen who held him at gunpoint tonight after the event, authorities said.(emphasis mine). Does it make me a bad person that when I read this story, I heard Burt Gummer's voice saying "Looks like you robbed the wrong got-damned clown, didntcha?"
The officer, who is assigned to the Near North police district, was in his clown outfit for a fundraiser for a day-care business. The event, attended by a group of children, was near West 87th Street and South Damen Avenue.

Seriously, who robs a clown?
Don't you think that if a person had enough cash to make them worth robbing they wouldn't be walking out of a kids party dressed like John Wayne Gacy?
And as that comes to mind....
Do you really, REALLY, want the wallet of a man that just spent two hours pulling balloons out of his pants and having seltzer sprayed down them?
Sort of reminds me of LawDog's Pink Gorilla story really...
