Accused Carjacker Dies after Being Shot on Detroit's West Side

Having that gun may have saved Standberry's life. He pulled into a gas station, got out of his car and within a matter of seconds was reportedly being carjacked by a 19-year-old.
"(It's) like my American Express card. I don't leave home without it," he said.Perfect. Just perfect. Apparently our enterprising young carjacker went for his gun after being asked to leave the vehicle by the rightful owner. Our hero then pulled his own gun and shot the goblin, who then fled in the victim's SUV, crashing a short distance down the road, dying of his gunshot wounds.
And, sadly for Je$$e and company, even though this is Detroit there's no racial motivation in this shooting...

I do hope that line "never once fired his gun" is just typical MSM idiocy, and they meant "never once fired his gun in self defense".
Looks like the carjacker did successfully deprive the poor guy of his SUV - that one's going to be in the shop a while!
I wonder how many future carjackings he just prevented, from that guy alone?
