Friday Gun Pr0n #232

Well, I had something all set to go for today's gun pr0n, when I realized that I had something that matched, numerically. Since we're at number 232, you might think I have a Sig P232. And you'd be right!

G... JayG.

SIG SAUER P232 in .380 ACP. Seven rounds (+1!) of .380 ACP goodness in a slick, PPK-inspired design. This is the most accurate .380 ACP out of all the variants I've tried, although my Makarov is a close second. Makes sense, seeing as how the Mak is the same basic action and shares the fixed barrel which aids in the accuracy. The PPK-based handguns were a longtime staple in the CCW market owing to the thin profile, light weight, and short barrel and grip. They've been supplanted recently by the polymer-framed micro-380s, but still enjoy wide popularity.

Of course, a P3AT doesn't give the same "shaken, not stirred" vibe...

That is all.

What's the size difference between that and your LC9?

That's an excellent question. Next time Dad needs it cleaned I'll snap a picture...
