Gunnie Mecca?

After seeing my Friday gun pic last week, reader Brad (not Brad_in_MA) was kind enough to share details and pictures of his trip to the Browning Museum on Ogden, UT with us. Here's his recap:
A lot of the display cases contain Browning's prototypes on top and an actual Winchester, Remington, etc beneath. It was interesting to see what Browning conceived and contrasted with the tweaks the manufacturers made on the production models. Several of the guns on display are Browning prototypes that never went into production.
Here's just some of the items on display:

Proto-Assault Rifles!

Saturday Night Specials!

Where's the shoulder thing that goes up?

There is also a display of miniature working firearms collected by Browning's grandson, Val Browning.

I do believe they have the Holy Grail though. There is a 1911 with a placard saying "Inventor Original Model" on display. I assume that is the 1911 prototype.
Naturally, there's a picture of this most holiest of holy objects:

Insert "Ode to Joy" here

Thanks for sharing your pictures and impressions with us, Brad!

That is all.

The mag looks like stainless.
I'm fairly sure JMB [PBUH] didn't have stainless in 1908.
Must be polished steel.
