2 shot, killed in home invasion
Police say two intruders were killed while trying to burglarize a Jacksonville home early Sunday morning.
Residents returned to their home at 107 Country Club Drive at around 2 a.m. to find two people in their home, said Beth Purcell, spokeswoman for the Jacksonville Police Department.
Reports indicate 4 to 5 possible home invaders. Several of the house's occupants were injured in the robbery, although it certainly looks like they got the better end of the deal, with two of the gobins being retired, permanently. The home was occupied by a Marine, so it's not unusual at all that the shooting was a fatality...
Dead Goblin Count: 281
That is all.

I know this Marine, and based on trustworthy info, he was totally in the right. My heart breaks for him because he had to make the choice to defend not only himself, but those with him who sustained injuries. Although he has completed several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, he has been profoundly affected by the difference in this self-defense.
Semper Fi, truly. My best thoughts and support for him.
