Vet gets ride of his life
Simply outstanding. A huge round of applause to the bikers who participated in this ride, to the organizers for putting it together and raising money to help our wounded vets, and the soldiers for whom the ride was organized. Talk about a positive, uplifting story! It's pretty funny - between this story, BACA, and the Patriot Guard Riders, folks are going to start thinking that motorcyclists are actually good human beings rather than targets...“Insane!” It was the only word Evan Reichenthal could think of yesterday, the one he uttered with a humble blend of shock and awe. This 21-year-old Marine had just arrived in East Boston’s Maverick Square in an open car. Following him was a column of more than 1,200 motorcyclists — some from as far away as Florida and Ohio — who came to ride in his honor.
You know, I may brave Boston traffic on a motorcycle to ride in this one next year...
That is all.

Watching this video made some dust or something get into my eye.
That's awesome.
One of the best things I ever did was help organize a day on the bay for guys in the Chelsea soldier's home. All the local lobstermen lined our boats up, and since the boats have open stern ramps, we could wheel wheelchairs and hospital beds right aboard. It's been going on for 15 years now.
I always like seeing the Devil Dogs riding by on weekends, too- something about a motorcycle gang made up 100% of Marines.
That was a great share...thank you! And if you do go next year, let me know? Would love to take pix!
