(AP) NEW YORK - Children in California will still be able to get toys with their Happy Meals. The suit claims that McDonald's was "using toys to lure them to eat nutritionally unbalanced meal", which is a crock of s**t. McDonald's uses nutritionally unbalanced meals to lure them to eat nutritionally unbalanced meals... The toy is ancillary to the grease and fried mammal fat that comprises the average fast food meal. It doesn't make the kids want fast food, it makes them want to eat one variety of fast food over another because of the quality of plastic trinket.
A San Francisco judge has dismissed a proposed class-action lawsuit that sought to stop McDonald's Corp. from using toys to market its meals to children in the Golden State. The suit had been filed in late 2010 by Monet Parham, a California mother of two, and The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer advocacy group based in Washington, D.C.
Quite frankly, I'm shocked that this was thrown out - it was just looney enough to get traction.
That is all.

What's wrong with mammal fat? It makes fried food taste even better!
