Mornin' WTF...

Reader Scott sends in this little tidbit that'll have you scratching your dome...

Suspect growls, bites Michigan State Police trooper during arrest in Clare, police say
CLARE – An 18-year-old suspect wanted for assault growled at police before he bit a state police trooper, police said.

Then, his father got into the act, police said. When it was over, both father and son rode in the back of patrol cars to the Clare County Jail.
Just go and take a look at the mugshot. If he didn't cut off the rattail in the back *yesterday* I'd be surprised. You've really got to wonder about the mindset of someone that will take a misdemeanor charge of assault and turn it into a full-blown felony - A&B on a police officer/resisting arrest/whatever else they can throw at you - not to mention running the risk of a good thorough tasering and/or hickory shampoo.

And then dear ol' dad has to get in on the fun! The family that resists arrest together stays together, or something like that. Look, Cletus, here's a helpful tip. *NOTHING* EVER gets better by resisting the cops. NOTHING. You're not going to get Officer Fife to just give up and go home because you told them you were really really sugar on top sorry. Once it gets to the stage of swearing out warrants, you've got to sweat it out in court. Fighting the cops is a losing proposition, and even if you're the biggest badass to ever walk the planet, you're not getting away. You might be able to break free for a brief while, but guess what? Now you have a s**tload of angry cops with itchy trigger fingers looking for you...

On a related track, as Scott points out, we now know where to trace the source of the zombie outbreak...

That is all.

He was probably on the way to a Mensa convention, from the looks of it.

I'm sure his family car pools with the local law enforcement on a regular basis.

"Police reports did not say where the trooper was bit."

I'm confused; the story clearly says the trooper was bit in Clare, MI.

Huh.
