One, possibly two models of handgun are okay in MA. Even though there are two 1911s and a 1911-based gun, as well as a gun cleared for carry for police, none of these are "safe" enough for us mere peasants to buy... Rifles are either okay or could be made okay; those aren't as big of an issue, although it'd sure be nice to have an AR-15 with an adjustable stock so that I wouldn't have to swap out my stock every time I wanted someone smaller than me to be able to comfortably shoot my rifle. Now, who's responsible for that again? Oh, that's right, Mitt Romney...

Why do you blame a former Governor for signing a bill passed by the Massachusetts Legislature? Because he did not veto the bill? Because the following Legislatures did not revoke the law with the signature of the Governor? Were you expecting a benevolent dictator ruling by decree?
Make sure that every single last House Rep and Senator that supported that bill or that still supports not revoking that law is voted out. Get a new Governor, also, and quit yer b**chin' as you get the government you deserve. Don't like it? Change it.
You and the other voters in Massachusetts are the ones who elect these clowns and allow them and their hired flunkies like the Chiefs of Police to deprive you of your civil rights.
Treat them all like Indiana Senator Richard Lugar.
