Tomorrow...

Meeting a whole bunch of the good folks at Northeastshooters forum at the GOAL Heritage Banquet. With any kind of luck/money I'll be helping the folks at GOAL out by buying some of the donated firearms at their auction, too...

Cross your fingers, and next Friday there'll be new gun(s) in the Friday Gun Pr0n...

If you happen to run into our mutual friend out there, tell him to get off his ass and call me. We have presentations to plan.

If I run into him, I'll put him in a headlock and make him call you right there...

You're not doing any presentations up this way, are you?

12g or .22 ? Both ?

Jay G said...

Definitely .22LR. Possibly the 20 ga as well.

Are you going?

No, I couldn't make it. Had to host 2 B-Day outings tonight.

However, see you picked up the .22 . Do you have a approximate age on the rifle ?

I still have my Dad's .22 bolt rifle. Its great with .22 shorts and once helped clear out a half dozen woodchucks which were making my backyard look like a minefield. The nice thing was that it made such little noise no one was ever the wiser.

Hey, if you ever get to the Cape again drop me a line, Ok ?

Dr. mac,

Too bad - it was a GREAT time. Jim Wallace led off with a fantastic speech, and the company couldn't have been better.

The rifle shown (Win 1906) is a cherished inheritance. It dates to the '20s, I think (it's up in the attic right now and I'm too lazy to go look).

We'll be planning another trip to the Cape sometime next summer. And the summer after that. And after that. And...

;)

Cherished inheritances are the most valuable. They link the past, present, and future.

When you plan to come to the Cape, please let me know. Paying you back for all the hours of reading enjoyment you have provided would be a honor.
