Well, it looks like this is starting to turn into something...
So far we have six takers:
Liberty
JD
doubletrouble (I think; he didn't actually say "I'm in", but...)
Bruce (our "ringer" - big name blogger if you will)
Ted (who I really need to add to the blogroll, but I may be a lazy bastard and wait until after the shoot so I don't have to add him twice...) :)
Weer'd Beard (who I also really need to add to the 'roll, see above comment...)
Jeff Soyer of Alphecca fame is a possibility, and I'll send an invite to Marko as well (for more big-name bloggers!)
We *may* have a private range in south-central NH.
We have a tentative date - Sunday, July 20th.
Holy shit, this might just happen...
That is all.

Sounds good to me. . . I will put it on the calendar.
If we get to the range is it skeet only or is there room for other bang sticks too = )
Okay, next logical question, who's grilling?
JD,
The range, assuming we can use it, is open for anything. I just chose "skeet" 'cuz it rhymed...
liberty,
Heck I don't mind if that's what it comes down to...
I *would* prefer to hear from the range host (e-mail is fine) before I start making too many plans... ;)
ON the food thing. . should we bring or chip in for it there?
JayG - bet you thought this would be easy to orginize
= )
after this you will be ready to herd cats. . ..
I'm just a reader and very occasional commenter, but I'm interested. We met briefly at the NES pumpkin shoot; I'm jar on there.
Might I suggest the M-E-A-T spelling in the event's name...
Northeast Bloggershoot II:
Meat, Greet, n' Skeet
Prepare to have your Kel-Tec humbled.
I'll most likely be able to come, too. Just tell me when, where, and what to bring.
"Lazy Bastard", eh? ;-)
The date is interesting - Germany crossed the Marne river in 1918, and Hitler survived an assassination attempt. Gotta be a connection here somewhere ...
Since I'm still firearm-less and amo-less (thank you Gov Patrick), I'll volunteer to bring feedstuffs etc. What do folks like?
Meat.
Is it only bloggers that are invited? And if so, do you have to be a gunnie/political/intelligent blogger? I'd love to drop by, but I've only been shooting twice! (I blame my daddy. That, and living in the Volksrepublic of Massachusetts.)
(Like zeeke42 I'm a reader/occasional commenter. And I have a blog that's all of one-month old, and consists solely of recounting my vacation in the Caribbean for the benefit of my friends. A disgrace to gunnie bloggers everywhere.)
Everyone,
See new post for updates.
Zeeke42/jar,
I am VERY reluctant to say "no", so I'm punting right now - we have limited space at the range, so I'll have to leave it as "we'll see" on commenters. I really hate doing it, but I'm imposing enough already on our generous host...
As it gets closer, we'll see what the attendees list looks like and if there's room you're in.
Marko,
Excellent news! It's probably a little over an hour south of you, not too bad of a drive all things considered. I'll get you in touch with the host for NH-centric directions...
Liisa,
That counts in my book. As far as only having been shooting a couple of times, as long as you're safe and don't mind us knuckle-dragging neanderthal men trying to give you "advice", you're fine... :)
