BOSTON (WBZ) ― An investigation into the apparent jail cell suicide of the accused 'Craigslist Killer' is now underway in Boston. Phillip Markoff, 24, was found dead inside his cell at the Nashua Street Jail on Sunday morning.
Sources tell WBZ that the former Boston University medical student cut an artery in his leg and bled to death. The Boston Globe reports he was also found with a plastic bag over his head.
I hope it hurt, scumbag. I hope the very last thought that went through your head as the life drained out of your body was of hellfire and damnation. I hope the screams of the woman you callously murdered drove you to take your own life. The only downside of this is that the family and friends of your victim will never get to see you marched out of the courtroom in irons, destined to spend the rest of your life in prison as someone's bitch.
Then again, this is Massachusetts, where you might have gotten off with a stern warning and an admonition not to do it again...

Like I said in the IRC when I first heard this, depending upon what you believe, the justice may just be beginning, and may be better than anything the courts could inflict. And no matter what you believe, he is forever a coward.
