Afternoon Not-Funny...

Stretch sent me a link to something my governor, good ol' Cadillac Deval, had to say recently about Glenn Beck's rally.

Tim Cahill lashes out at Deval Patrick over remarks on Glenn Beck

Independent gubernatorial candidate Tim Cahill blasted Gov. Deval Patrick yesterday for appearing to suggest he wished America wasn’t as free so that last week’s Glenn Beck rally at the Lincoln Memorial where Martin Luther King Jr. once spoke would never have happened.

“It’s a free country. I wish it weren’t, but . . . it’s a free country,” Patrick said on the “Jim & Margery Show” on WTKK-FM. “You know, you got to, you got to respect that freedom.”

Just for emphasis:

“It’s a free country. I wish it weren’t, but . . . it’s a free country”

For what it's worth, PISSED has already contacted me to tell me he's putting that on a bumper sticker. If anyone's interested, let me know and we'll get 'em out there. This is bloody ridiculous - if you speak out of line, they want to take away your freedom. Let that sink in a bit...

There's your tolerant left, folks.

That is all.

At least (he says) he recognizes it.

Aww, remember when George W. Bush said that a dictatorship would be better, if only he were the dictator?

Isn't that the same Cahill who doesn't like to pay his taxes? Sounds like a feud between Trotsky and Stalin is brewing. Let us know which one gets the Ice Ax in the Head.

At least his honesty is refreshing. BTW, the latest polls show Baker gaining ground on Devalue. That support seems to be coming at the expense of Tim Cahill, but I'm told that Cahill is determined to stay in until the end.

Maybe Obama will come to MA and stump for Patrick. With luck that will have the same great results it did for Marsha Chokely. .
