WASHINGTON (AP) ―President Barack Obama's winning coalition from 2008 has crumbled and his core backers are dispirited. It's now Republicans who stand to benefit from an electorate that's again craving change. It just warms the cockles of my black heart to hear that Øbama's policies are about as well-received as a case of the clap. It's interesting to note the overtones of "divided government" - could it possibly be that the reason the Democrats are doing so poorly right now is that they've had their chance for the past two years and people don't like what they've done with it? Gitmo's still open; the economy is still tanking; government handouts are the only thing keeping two out of three American car makers afloat and all Barry can say is "It's Bush's fault!"
Nearly two years after putting Obama in the White House, one-quarter of those who voted for the Democrat are defecting to the GOP or considering voting against the party in power this fall. Just half of them say they definitely will show up Nov. 2, according to an Associated Press-Knowledge Networks poll released two weeks before Obama's first midterm elections.
Yeah. Keep running against Bush. Let us know how that works out for you - ideally in the unemployment office in January 2013...
That is all.

Jay,
Apologies in advance for a possibly disturbing mental image. I'd say a dose of the clap is more welcomed . . . at least with the clap there's a likelihood that one got laid. Obama's policy plan simply seeks to make certain we all get f*cked in the ass.
W.V. mantiers. Obama's policies can bring on man-tears.

After the last presidential election, many people I spoke with voted for him out of novelty. They did so without research and education. In fact, this election was what first drove me to politics. I was so upset at the blind voting that I made it my mission to question everyone I knew. Most didn't know the issues and only voted a certain way because it felt good.
Now, two years later, they know the truth. Heck of a way to get an education.
"You voted for Obama to prove you're not a racist. Now, who are you going to vote for to prove you're not an idiot?" -Commenter at NBC-11 (by way of Doug Ross)
