Colt .22LR Goodness
It's a Colt New Frontier in .22LR (no .22 Mag cylinder, unfortunately) from the mid-1980s (I checked the S/N to make sure it wasn't a C&R...) It's gorgeous and shoots like a dream, but I have two other double action .22LR revolvers that I prefer shooting and as such it sits in the safe. Would be the perfect complement to a CAS rig or to go with a nice Henry lever action, or to just stick in the safe as an investment - they ain't making any more of these.
I'm looking to get $600 or best offer for it - comparable ones on Gunbroker/GunsAmerican/etc. are going for anywhere from $475 to $700 depending on condition, and this one is in great shape. I've shot it twice, it's a tack-driver for sure and I'm very reluctant to let her go, but the grail, she calls to me. Give a holler via e-mail or in comments if you're interested. All laws will be followed; MA residents can do FTF transfer, all others through an FFL, your mileage may vary, do not remove tags, void where prohibited.
I do reserve the right to make sure she goes to a good home...
That is all.

That is a beauty -- I have its twin, with the .22 Mag cylinder. Gee, if you get $600, I might put mine on the market towards something else...
Which Grail gun has appeared on your horizon, may one ask?
libertyman,
Like I said, I went with a price consistent with Gunbroker, etc. It's a little optimistic, certainly, but I am open to offers... :)
Les,
Smith & Wesson 242ti - an airweight, hammerless K-frame snubbie. Very rare, I think S&W only made them for one year (1990?) and then discontinued the model.
I shot one at the local public range a few years back and it's a great gun for CCW for those of us dinosaurs (like me) who prefer wheelguns. 7 rounds of .38 Special +P is potent goblin medicine...
Jay, just popped over to the S+W Forums to look it up, VERY nice. Titanium cylinder, lightweight, 2 more rounds than a J-Frame, excellent gun to shove into the pocket of the Winter Parka. Hope you get it. If the Colt doesn't sell, perhaps T-Bolt might like to purchase the "Snubbie from Hell", unless you want to use it as Backup to the 242ti..... ; )
