Today is National Ammo Day!
Go out and do your part to make Sarah Brady, Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein, and Rebecca Peters cry. Support your local gun shop; patronize a large sporting box store; or even spend some hard-earned ducats at the emporium of evil itself... 100 rounds at a minimum; whatever you can carry or afford as a maximum
Just do your part to let your Second Amendment voice be heard...
That is all.

I tried Cabela's but their website is broken or something and then their 800 was busy.
I wonder if it's the Ammo Day rush.
So I went to Wal Mart and got 100 .40S&W, 100 9mm and some 12 gauge buckshot.
Well, I just made a rather large ammo purchase, but the timing wasnt right to make it happen exactly on Ammo Day, but I'll still count it.
5.56 = 1100rnds
.32 = 1000rnds
good enough? :)
I cleaned out my local "emporium of evil"'s stock of Win. white box .45 ACP 100 rd. value packs Tuesday. That'll have to count.
Ordered 1000 rounds each of 9mm and .45 :-)
I bought 250 rounds...
150 of .22 LR
50 of 9mm
50 of .40 cal
.380 is still a bit scarce (read: still pricey) in these parts, because it seems that more and more gun shops are carrying .380 handguns, and they are moving them well due to very reasonable prices. The bigger calibers are not selling nearly as well, so ammo is plentiful for the calibers I got yesterday.
500 of .22LR.
I managed to buy 100rds of 7.62x39, forgetting it was ammo day.
I heard that a portion of all ammo sales today go to a bleg for gout treatment. Is that true ?
100rds to feed the M28, and 50 for my 1911s. Should have bought more .38
Now, if I could just manage to get to the range to shoot the ammo I've got...
