Prosecutor, Neighbors Say Home Invasion Shooting Justified
According to the homeowner, after the two suspects left his house, he stepped outside where one of the suspects threatened to kill him. The homeowner fired a shot, hitting the second suspect, not the armed suspect who made the threat. He fled on foot. The best part about the whole article? This:
"He still committed a violent felony against our resident," Junk said. "Again, he lives on his property. He lives in his house. He doesn't have to stay inside and cower. He's allowed to go back outside. He's the victim, not the person that got shot. If you don't want (to be) shot and killed, stay out of other peoples' houses and you don't have to worry about it."Junk is the Pike County Prosecutor.
Dead Goblin Count: 127
That is all.

Junk for President?
I'm new to gun rights - and MD has an almost impossible to meet CCW standard, and a lot of anti-gun regulations...so I'm more than mildly surprised to have just discovered that MD has the Castle Doctrine. Definitely learning a lot hanging around the gun blogs. Thanks.
Too entendre to say "I like that Junk!"
Thanks for the linkage. Will keep sending the stories as I find them.
