Richard over at Guns, Holsters, and Gear reviews the Chiappa Rhino.
I've gotta say, this is one different-looking gun:
The Rhino is one of those guns that you either love or hate - very few people are on the fence about the styling. My impression of the trigger from the 2010 NRA Convention mirrored that of Richard's impression from 2010 SHOT - it's good to see that Chiappa has fixed that, because when I tried the Rhino it felt like trying to pull a 10 pound weight over 6 feet of gravel. Sounds like they've got it squared away now, though - Richard sure seems impressed with how it shot.
Go take a read - it's one interesting gun and a good review.
That is all.

Jay,
Is that a rail under the barrel? You could add a bayonette.

I really want to try one of the snubbie versions.
Its sure does look different. Kind of like the thing Luke Skywalker would carry if he were into revolvers.
I think I want one.
Not that we'll ever see them in this state.
That thing has got to tear the hell out of a holster. And if you're carrying it concealed, it seems like it would snag on your clothes while drawing it. It would make a nasty club, however.
That's one fugly revolver.
At least now Charter Arms owners have something to point at in derision :P
Reminds me of a mateba autorevolver... looks like it has that mateba-distinctive barrel-aligns-with-lowest-chamber deal anyway.
Heh, after reading a bit more on it:
1) Yeah I was right
2) Of course it's similar, it's even designed by the same guy.
Blade Runner?
