Okay, the lunch for Paul went well; now we're staring down the barrel of the Fourth Annual Northeast Bloggers Winter Social dinner event this coming Saturday. We finally came to an agreement on the venue (okay, I decided...), so here's the final info. Original post here; updates here and here.
What? Northeast Blogger Winter Gathering Dinner.
Who? Any and all bloggers, commenters, readers, lurkers, etc. in the Northeast area, or those passing through, or anyone crazy enough to show up.
When? Saturday, January 7th, 7:00 PM EST.
Where?
I have been informed that Jillian's has been closed for a "political event" on Saturday. We have folks who have already made hotel arrangements in Manchester, so we should pick another restaurant there. Unless I hear otherwise, I'll contact KC's Ribshack and see about getting a table there...
Why? Folks getting together to enjoy good food, great beer, and superlative company. Bring your appetite, a whistle for wetting, and your best stories to tell. We can even play pool afterwards!

I'll try to be at the restaurant a little ahead of everyone just to be on the safe side, but ask for "JayG" and they should be able to direct you to the mayhem right quick. Weather.com has the weather at 48ºF and cloudy for Saturday, so no blizzard of epic proportions like in 2010! Heck, we might even be able to go out of doors for part of the evening!

Well, this explains why hotels around Jillians were all booked up and a jillion bucks a night. :(
OK, the really F'ed up thing is I just realized I'd been invited to said political event at Jillians. Guess I didnt pay it much attention because I already had plans for the night. Sorry I didn't catch it, would have made things a lot easier (and cheaper). :(

Jay, you may as well book KCs- or anyplace closereally. I think we are all more interested in the actual get together than the venue.
Can you cancel the reservation and make one in Nashua? We could look into La Caretta again...
Non-refundable at this point, though I wonder if they might make an exception since there seems to be such a high demand for the rooms.
Either city is fine -- Let us know when a decision is reached.
