Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'...

Brad_in_ma, Bob_S, and The Big Guy both sent the most recent DGC addition:

Coroner identifies man shot during Moncks Corner burglary

MONCKS CORNER — Authorities say a man was shot and killed this morning while breaking into a Moncks Corner home.

Moncks Corner police responded to 1404 Cooper River Blvd. about 8:45 a.m. The homeowner told police that he was in the bathroom shaving when he heard a noise inside the house.

The goblins must have figured that no one was home. They figured wrong, to the eternal detriment of one of the pair... Reading the article, it almost sounds like a comedy of errors - they broke in; homeowner heard the noise and went downstairs to investigate; while he was looking around the garage they were ransacking the second floor; then they met in the middle. Given that the goblin he shot was carrying a firearm at the time (even if it was stolen), there's very little reason to believe this won't be summarily dismissed in favor of the homeowner.

Brad pointed out this tidbit:

The 20-year-old man died from a single gun shot, according to the coroner.
Single handgun shot, mind you - yes, we have a one-stop shot from a handgun. They do indeed happen...

Dead Goblin Count: 150

That is all.

Have you noticed that most of DGC stories sent in involve 2 or MORE Goblins? Perhaps for BAG Day/Weekend (since it has been extended because the Federalized Union Thugs in Washington, D.C. at the IRS get off for some sort of local Holiday with pay, and they'll be too busy partying to do their jobs), one should consider a High Capacity Magazine fed Weapon?

I may be a wee bit insensitive here, but I am tad curious/morbid but "Single gun shot" - was that center mass or head shot? I gotta admrire the homeowner's accuracy (as well as their frugality).
