Man shot dead after confronting apartment tenant
Apparently two goblins, at least one of which was armed, attempted to break into one of the apartments in the building. The resident of said apartment, rather than cower in the corner waiting for 911 to arrive, instead gave the attackers what they were after - a fusillade of copper and lead (under the assumption that anyone kicking in a random door is really looking for a fight of some sort...)DAYTON — A man who broke into an apartment building was killed during a Thursday morning shooting on North Decker Avenue.
Lieutenant Michael Martin said that when police arrived at the scene around 11:30 a.m., they found the victim lying in an alley next to the Upper Deck Apartments at 17 N. Decker.
