Little Help, Please...

I keep seeing references to something called a Car-dash-Ian on the intertubes. It's obviously something of great importance to civilization, given the prominence of this entity on numerous information-related websites. Yet it remains that I have never heard of it; given that so many outlets consider it of sufficient worth to display it prominently, I had feared that perhaps my information gathering devices and locations had failed me.

And where's that bread, anyways?

That is all.

according to Wiki:

The Cardassians are an extraterrestrial species in the Star Trek science fiction franchise. First introduced in the 1991 Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Wounded", the species originated on the fictional Alpha Quadrant planet Cardassia Prime. Cardassians were the dominant species in an interplanetary empire known as the Cardassian Union, ruling over other species, including the Bajorans, during the 24th century. The Cardassians later played a key role in the storyline of the series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as allies of the Dominion in the Dominion War. Several Cardassian characters, including Elim Garak and Gul Dukat, are prominently featured.

But I haven't seen reports of UFOs landing anywhere though

The Car-dash-Ian are a silicon based life form with no noticeable linguistic skills.
They seem to breed at erratic intervals despite a frequent and well documented mating cycle.
Frequently found in the proximity of cameras and alcohol.
Family hierarchy seems to be based on individual volume and number of photographs displayed at drugstore checkout counters.

Obviously, Alan has never had to listen to any of the herdlet trying to speak. About which, at least one is known for engaging in mating behavior on camera. Not for pay, mind you ..., they have their standards.

Somewhere.

Cf: the South Park episode with something called a "Snookie." The two species are intimately related, if not intimately acquainted.

Yet.
