Rep. Maxine Waters, no stranger to controversy, is turning heads once again, this time for describing House Republican leaders as "demons."But the Republicans are the ones that are refusing to compromise. Praytell, how does one compromise with an opponent that considers them a demon? Then again, we all know that if either of the Republicans mentioned by Waters were to complain about her comments, they would immediately be branded as racist (and probably misogynist to boot).
The California Democrat's comments, which surfaced Wednesday, were made last weekend at a state party convention in San Diego. Video of her speech shows her rallying Democrats to win back control of the House in November.
What's more terrifying is her comment that "banks will be 'shaking in their boots' if Democrats take back the house and she becomes the House Financial Services Committee chairwoman". Of course they'll be shaking in their boots if the Democrats are evil enough to appoint a woman currently undergoing an ethics investigation to oversee banks. You'd see wholescale looting on a par with the robber barons of the 19th century.
But we're the ones that are supposed to play nice - nuts to that; it's on like Donkey Kong Maxine...
That is all.

You want to be scared? Really, really scared? It is very possible for the Democrats to regain the House, get more Votes in the Senate, and Barry gets re-anointed. 60+ Votes in the Senate means Barry can fill the Courts with all the Uber-Liberal Judges he can, and if ONE Conservative Supreme Court Judge and/or Kennedy dies/retires, then it's a total Rubber Stamp Government.
And I wouldn't be surprised if Maxine would then introduce the 28th Constitutional Amendment, repealing the Presidential Term limits of the 22nd Amendment.
Can you say Hugo Chavez Obama?
I thought that after the Gabby Giffords incident, this sort of Eliminationist rhetoric was beyond the pale?
Oh, right - only if you can attack Sarah Palin.
Hey! At least the Robber Barons gave us a modern rail system, developed the eastern oil fields, and stabilized the banking system when it really needed it (see House of Morgan). I can't think of a single productive thing the Dem party as a whole has done in the past 20 years. Individuals, yes, but not the party.

OK, the WV is "wedlEnd you" as in "We'd lend you money, but we had to give everything to a political campaign in order to be allowed to keep our doors open."
