Classy M1 Carbine
However I have an idea for your M1 Carbine. I have an Inland carbine that has a Fajen stock. Fajen as you may recall offered replacement sporter stocks for military and other rifles. I don't know if they are still in business.I agree! Boy, that's a sharp looking rifle, I have to admit. If I were looking for a full stock, I'd definitely consider a Fajen stock. I think, though, that I'm going to look for a more vintage folder, though, and pass on the plastic fantastic for this one. I've got a line on an underfolder stock for it, which is all kinds of appealing for many reasons.
Regardless of that, I have attached photos of my M1 carbine. It now has a 1.5 ~ 4x scope and a green laser mounted off the scope. It certainly does not look like an evil assault rifle.
The M1 carbine can be put in this stock with no modifications, My carbine was modified and given a very nice blue job by its previous owner. I traded a Ruger Bisley .45 Colt for the rifle two years ago. Well worth it I think.
Thanks for sharing that wicked sharp looking M1 Carbine!
That is all.

Paratrooper folding stock.
I have 5 M1's. One in a paratrooper stock. One (the wifes') sporting an orchid pink stain - I call it the San Francisco militia rifle. The others in original GI stocks.
Let me know if you need any GI 15 rounders...
Old Radar Tech,
Check out the listing - "Shipment is prohibited to CA, CT, MA, DC, NJ or NY"...
Stupid state...
Maybe I could have my favorite gunsmith order it for me... :D
As for 15 rounders, heck, I'm always looking... If you have any extra you wouldn't mind parting with, let's make a deal! :)
The CMP used to have an AWESOME deal on mags, probably long sold out. I think it was like $9 each for brand new unissued still is the waxed paper wrapper GI mags. I should have bought more. They also have decent ammo prices (but very slow shopping), and I *think* they may even be allowed to ship to MA.
Several years back I saw an ad for an
M2 Carbine in that Fajen stock.
Too broke to buy it, of course.
Figured full auto from a "sporter"
looking carbine would make people
say, "Huh?"
That's a nice looking Gentleman's Old-School stock, with a sweet diamond inlay, just needs a grip cap with a white-line spacer to give it a totally late 60's look! Nothing "tactical" or ninja-riffic about that!
