President Tone Deaf, Paging President Tone Deaf

Holy Mary mother of G-d. I cannot believe this man is this clueless - or is he just that arrogant?

President Obama Booed After Thanking Boston For Kevin Youkilis
BOSTON (CBS) – Being booed was probably the last thing President Barack Obama expected from the crowd at a Symphony Hall fundraiser Monday night, but that happened when the president “thanked” Boston for Kevin Youkilis, who was just traded to the Chicago White Sox.
There's video. You have to see this to believe it.

Boston is a *HUGE* sports town, and the Red Sox are a huge part of that. Fenway Park is an institution; the Curse of the Bambino, finally broken in the magical summer of 2004 (and Youk was on the roster for that series) is still talked about in hushed tones; "Good luck to you and the Red Sox" is still heard with regularity in the streets of Beantown.

And to joke about it the day the trade breaks? While asking these people for money? That's either so freakin' clueless he makes Biden look clever or so arrogant he's bordering on sociopath. Here he is at a fundraiser where people dropped anywhere from $250 to $2500 to listen to him, and he makes fun of one of their institutions?

How much do you want to bet Mitt Romney will be called racist for using this footage in his next campaign video?

That is all.

Thanks to stretch for the link!

I don't ever give Obama any dues except to say F--K him. Yet, as far as this video goes, I thought it was pretty funny (but I am a New Yorker). I guess he can do something amusing every now and then or tries to. Imagine if he did not have a sense of humor, he may have retired himself already with all the pressure he has been under. Just a thought... One can hope.

Goodness, he might as well have said Fenway Park should be leveled for a wind-power farm... Oh, wait... that's next week's speech...

Ah come on, I'm no Obama fan, but they were laughing with him, that was good natured sports trash talk from both sides.

Keep talking, Mr. President. Just keep talking. And make sure Vice President Biden keeps talking, too.
