Ah, the best-laid plans of mice and men... I had something all lined up for today that fell through at the last minute. Fortunately, because I am prepared - and know that two gun pictures is one and one gun picture is none - I had another lined up...
There's my trusty Mossberg 590 pump-action 12 gauge shotgun, my preferred home defense scattergun. If the eight rounds of 00 buckshot in the tubular magazine doesn't handle the problem, I've got larger issues than magazine capacity (especially considering that 10+1 rounds of .45 ACP +P and a spare 13 round magazine are also in play). It's held in the ready position in the Shotlock gun vault, and stands ready as my go-to EBS.
00 buckshot - when you really, really want those kids off your damn lawn...
That is all.

10+1 with a 13 reload?
Is it the XD?
Glock 30 with a G21 mag for spare. Lives in a lockbox by the bed...
Ooh I have a 590 set up very much like that, side folder and all, though it has a red dot rather than a holo, and default to a .45 12+1 with two 14s to follow. They let you have 13 round mags there? Sorry, can't keep all those fascist states straight.
Love the 590. Not a fan of folding stocks on the mossy as it makes getting to the safety a little more difficult. I use ghost ring sights and have a flashlight mounted.
Nice touch with the pig sticker!
Right. For a second I forgot you need pre-ban mags to hold more than 10 rounds...

I wasn't going to say anything. I first thought you might have bought an M&P45 magazine in New Hampshire.
But 13 round pre 94 Glock magazine FINE, 13 round New-production M&P Magazine BAAAAAD!
Is that a shoulder thing that goes up?
Eeek! I think I might have wet myself in fear.
