Parrot On The Loose Flies Into Waltham Police Cruiser
WALTHAM (CBS) – A parrot that was spotted flying around Columbus Ave in Waltham is now with animal control.
The bird actually flew through the open window of a police cruiser and landed on an officer’s shoulder. The officer closed the windows and called animal control.
You know, you gotta give that cop props. That's some quick thinking when many of us would have been going "WTF was that?" Not only that, but he's now in a confined space with an unknown animal - that parrot could have muscled his way up to the bars, then BOOM! ;)
(for those that don't get the reference...)
Really, could I have made up a weirder story?

I keep imagining the conversation between the officer and dispatch in the voices of Palin and Cleese.
