September is officially half-over today (well, at midnight, you get the idea). Today's picture marks the second half of the contest, the first picture in the back half of the month. So, naturally, I'm at the post office:
I'm on my way to King Richard's Faire, but had to drop some bills in the mail to be sure they got out in time. It's a common, absolutely plebian task, but performing in a kilt, sure enough, in the five seconds I was out of the car, I spoke with three people about why I was wearing the kilt. It really does get people asking questions, which is the whole reason for doing it...
Again, as a reminder, I'm going kilted as part of the Kilted to Kick Cancer
campaign. I'm collecting donations for two groups that will help
further cancer research and awareness, and am humbly asking for your
donations to either of the following:
Prostate Cancer Foundation
Livestrong
To entice you to donate through me as opposed the other Kilted to Kick Cancer participants, I have a number of prizes assembled that are being "raffled" off - please see the linked post for details. Be sure to e-mail me and let me know where to put your "tickets" if you do donate through me. I'd like to thank Michael W., Nancy R., Dragon Leatherworks, York Arms, Larry, and Mark for their extremely generous donations.
Kilted to Kick Cancer: So easy, even a shaved head, gun-totin', biker looking dude can do it...
That is all.

How much have you raised so far? Are you in first place? If not, how much behind number 1?
All the best,
