Heh. The super-special, Prize Package Four sporran from Dragon Leatherworks arrived yesterday. Can you tell I'm excited about it?
Thanks once again to Dennis, the creative genius behind Dragon Leatherworks, for putting together this butt-kicking Monster Hunter themed sporran and getting it to me in time to meet Larry Correia while wearing it. Uber geek cred! (Oops, guess I tipped my hand for tonight, but if you thought I was going out during Kilted to Kick Cancer in jeans, well...).
And again, as a reminder, I'm going kilted as part of the Kilted to Kick Cancer
campaign. I'm collecting donations for two groups that will help
further cancer research and awareness, and am humbly asking for your
donations to either of the following:
Prostate Cancer Foundation
Livestrong
To entice you to donate through me as opposed the other Kilted to Kick Cancer participants, I have a number of prizes assembled that are being "raffled" off - see the original post for details. I'd like to thank Michael W., Nancy R., Dragon Leatherworks, and York Arms for their extremely generous donations.
The hardest part about the end of Kilted to Kick Cancer is going to be giving this beauty up...
That is all.

Jay,
Apologies in advance, but I can't think of too many things more horrible than you pointing at your junk while grinning a maniacal grin.
Brad
" I've found my special purpose! "
Does anybody else wish Jay hadn't called it his "Prize Package"?
Believe me, I can get a *LOT* more horrible than this.
More donations would help prevent this from happening...
Now if we could only get you to learn...
Lower the sporran an inch or 2. There should be a gap between the belt and sporran.
Damn hard-headed, unteachable bloggers...
Ah, but I *did* learn. The sporran is empty. When filled, it was at least an inch lower... ;)
You know you're really a great man who helps people with cancer. I hope that more people should be like you who helps his fellowmen.
More donations would help prevent this from happening...
Or encourage it, I'm sure.
Contribution sent.
Dave,
In all seriousness, thank you for the donation. Now remember to send me an e-mail and tell me what Prize Package(s) you want your tickets to go towards!
I'll have to get someone to take a pic or two
Tried to send an email and it came back as undeliverable. No idea why.
Want to help out and donate a set of 1911 grips to the cause so if you would like, I will send them along to you.
instinct,
Try my gmail (jayg71 at...) or re-try the blog addy (stuckinmassachusetts (at) comcast.net. I've been getting e-mails at both addresses all day.
And thanks!
