It’s a simple gift. It costs as much or as little as you want. On Monday, October 15th, I want you to buy me a gift, but give it to someone else. It doesn’t matter what it is. Heck, it doesn’t even have to be something you buy, maybe just something you do.He lists a few ideas, and they're good ones; in comments are other ideas, like buy a meal for someone in uniform. Call it "Pay It Forward" only without the annoying Kevin Spacey character. Robb's hitting the big 4-0 this month, and he'd love to see a great turnout on this birthday event. If you do decide to do something, don't tell me - tell Robb, and tell him on his birthday.
It's a great idea from a great guy - what's not to like?
That is all.

Turning forty didn't hurt nearly as much as turning thirty did. I didn't even notice turning fifty.
That's a nice sentiment Robb is promoting. Sort of "nonrandom acts of kindness."
