Today's gun pr0n is one of the guns I stumbled across in Colorado. As part of the set-up, we wandered over to Nearby Pseudo-Large Town where the supermarket was located (for a cake!) and just happened to go to our hosts' local gun shop. In the revolver section was this beauty:
It's a Smith & Wesson model 10 police trade-in with a really good parkerizing job. The lockup was crisp and tight, the trigger was broken in but not sloppy; all in all just a fine example of the breed. It only looks like a J-frame because it's in the gargantuan mitts of Matt G. (no relation) who, as Ambulance Driver will attest, can palm a Deagle.
I lurve me some S&W wheelguns, I really do...
That is all.

COLT Forever... :-P
You mean Colt Forever Backwards ?
This is why you never travel out of state without the information from a local gun dealer who is willing to handle the transfer.

Okay, Jay, now you've done it. Miss Z., my twelve-year-old, asked what "palming a deagle" meant. So I showed her, and explained what a Desert Eagle is... and she said "COOL!!! I want to try one!"
Oh, sure, that put a smile on my face as wide as Massachusetts -- but how to do it? I don't know anybody around here with a D.E., or any place I can rent one. (That's ignoring the minor fact that a D.E. is basically as big as she is.)
As the man says, it's the right kind of problem to have...
