Would-Be Bank Robber Tries To Rob Bank On Columbus Day
EAST BOSTON (CBS) – A would-be bank robber forgot to check his calendar Monday as he attempted to rob a bank in Maverick Square.[suppresses chortling]
Unfortunately for him, the bank was closed for Columbus Day.
I just get the mental image of him bursting through the doors, ski mask over his face, gun in hand, yelling "Nobody move - this is a robbery!" to a completely empty and darkened bank. Yes, I know he was caught because the locked door thwarted his efforts (dude, serious? That's a sign when the door is locked...), but it's funnier my way.
I suppose it's a good thing that criminals are this stupid...
That is all.

I heard that the Warren Campaign was kinda short of Cash, but to send out a Staffer on Columbus Day..... ; )
The smart criminals are already working inside the bank.
"Give a man a gun and he can rob a bank. Give a man a bank and he can rob the world."
Paul Harvey used to say something like "there's no minimum intelligence required to be a criminal" ... and clearly he was right. And so is Dave H.
Snerk.
Had to be Boston....
