It appears that a lot of people got the projections wrong. Even in Wisconsin I've never seen so much support for the R ticket and still its a lost battle. Very strange stuff going on however but it does not look good at the moment.
OH: Obama by 76,622 votes (50% to 48%), 47% of precincts remaining.
PA: Obama by 425,371 votes (56% to 43%), 21% of precincts remaining.
FL: Obama by 44,736 votes (50% to 49%), 11% of precincts remaining.
With those numbers, and the percentage of precincts remaining, I would view any projections with extreme scepticism, especially considering who's doing the projecting.
Florida's numbers are especially chilling when you remember the insanity of Bush v. Gore.
I predict recounts and lawsuits in Florida, yet again, especially if that ~45k vote gap narrows when the remaining precincts report in.
I am none to optimistic but still hoping thAzt I wake up tomorrow happily surprised. I have an early appointment in Manhattan and have to be up very early for me, and probably for the sun at this time of year, so I will hit the hay before they announce who has won. Oh the suspense...,.,,.
what about the National popular vote interstate compact thats 132 EC votes that have to go to the popular vote winer, Romeny mibht just pull this off, and yeah thats a new law in most states. Just think 55 votes from CA going to Romeny due to this law. There might be a small sliver of light on this tunnel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact
I'll admit it -- I'm stunned. This is not at all where I expected to be this morning.
Under other circumstances, I'd be talking about voter fraud... but I can't imagine voter fraud widespread enough to show the nationwide results we've seen.
We have to accept that a majority of the country, from sea to shining sea, wants what President Obama is selling. And that doesn't bode well for the rest of us, or for the country.
Jay, you won our bet. The next range trip is on me. (For myself, I'll put in a request to try out your SUB2000.) Name your favorite lunch spot; that's on me too.
Hmm, economic prospects don't look good... Jay, what was that you were saying about doing your own reloading???
Well, I seem to recall that I mentioned a couple of days ago that 3 things could happen. The first was that Obama would win, and the MSM would have a Massive Orgasm.
And I'm right.
So who wants the Winning Lottery Numbers for tonight's Powerball?
After all, you'll need the Cash at the Gun Show this Weekend.

Open Invitation for New Shooters
Just want to extend an open invitation to all potential new shooters in the Northern Virginia area. If you have never shot a firearm, or would like to get back into the shooting sports, or are an accomplished shooter who'd like to try something in my arsenal, give me a shout.
New shooters get range time, targets, gun use and ammo on me. I've even got extra eye and ear protection - all you have to do is show up.

Unless that is a fat lady singing that I can't hear, seems a little early to be hoisting any flags
Gary Johnson FTW!
Wait, what?
OH, PA, *AND* FL for Obama? Romney is done.
D-O-N-E.
Say hello to Obama's second term, folks.
Get ready for payback.

Jay,
I'm IN Ohio. Don't know who's called it for O yet, but local news certainly hasn't.
They (Fox!) called PA for O with....2% of the precincts reporting. THERE's a worthwhile call, and no question!
Current numbers (per Yahoo):
OH: Obama by 76,622 votes (50% to 48%), 47% of precincts remaining.
PA: Obama by 425,371 votes (56% to 43%), 21% of precincts remaining.

On the bright side the country is fucked for another 4 years.
When OZero gets done you will be lucky to have a roof over your head.

Well, sadly I think I called every major race correctly, as well as all the local ones, except for Brown/Warren.

I'm shocked that the Democrat turnout models played out as accurately as they did.

Yes, always look on the bright side of life.
