I honestly don't know what to make of the whole "We do skeet shooting all the time at Camp David" business. I would not be the least bit surprised to find out that Obama *has* tried it - it's one of the things that presidents do, with the Marines and all, but I would fall over dead of shock if he's done it more than once or twice - and even though for more than one or two rounds. Others share my skepticism.
This was Obama's "Can I get me a huntin' license" moment - the awkward, stilted, jarring disconnect between his words and his alleged actions. A man who has shared his disdain for firearms and the people that own them for his entire adult life; who worked for a group whose stated goal is more gun control suddenly claiming to be an ardent fan of shooting skeet? It just doesn't jibe. He no more could have pulled that off than John Kerry pretending to want a hunting license in 2004.
Now, who can identify where the picture and post title come from?

I Suspect that, like golf. Skeet shooting is something he views as a rich man's sport, and so something he needed to learn for those times when he envisions himself on the aft deck of a someone's 250 ft motor-yacht shooting skeet over the Mediterranean sea. …. And just like his golf game, I doubt he’s any good ---but he probably has a number of high end custom made shotguns that have been given to him.

On a semi serious note, my son has recently taken up shooting. Specifically, trap and skeet. He sent me a text asking if he should write to Obama and ask for some pointers.
