Mom in NM chases down child abductor; man arrested
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — A mother whose 4-year-old was being abducted chased the suspect down and crashed her vehicle into his car, triggering a manhunt and the arrest of the suspect, Albuquerque police said Thursday.Madam, my hat is off to you. Chased him down, ran him off the road, and caused him to flee the scene in terror. The only way this could have been better would have been for you to have caught him, beaten him to within an inch of his life, and video with audio recording played at his court hearing so all the other prisoners hear him screaming as you beat his ass.
The young girl was playing in her yard at St. Anthony's Plaza Apartments in Albuquerque's North Valley about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when a group of teenagers saw the kidnapping and ran to alert the girl's mother, police said.
Don't mess with Mama Bear. Dad'll just kill your ass dead. Mama bear will make sure you suffer, first.
Little girl safe? Check.
Predator stopped? Check.
Predator captured? Check.
Predator never going to show his face in that town again? More than likely.

That is all

Kipling got it right, as he often did. The female of the species is more deadly than the male.
Glad that the story had a happy ending...but what the heck was a 4 year old doing playing in the yard alone?
Sailorcurt - not very alone, in an apartment complex with teens playing close enough nearby to see the whole thing, alert the mom, and have her give chase before the perp drove away.
Glad it ended well!
By that lady a drink on me. Well done!

I'm sorry, but that's pretty weak.
You are assuming that the parent even knew that those teens were there, let alone that they were actually paying attention to anything other than each other and their own interaction.
What if the teens had decided to walk down to the corner store right before the attempted abduction?
Simply the fact that the parent had to be informed by someone else that their 4 year old child was being abducted is evidence enough for me.
I'm not saying that the parent is at fault for someone trying to do evil to their child, but that they were irresponsible in leaving their child in the yard unsupervised and trusting "the village" to fulfill their parental duty.
that-is-what-I'm-talkin'-about!
