So, the Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, eh? Good.
The .gov has no business being in the marriage business, period. The Defense of Marriage Act was poorly conceived, hastily executed, and was an affront to those that believe in the concepts of state's rights and basic constitutional protections. We are all equal; codifying inequality into law is never a great idea. It's a shame it took 17 years to correct this wrong, but it does show that we can learn from our mistakes and even rectify them.
Curse that theocrat George Bush for signing it into law!

We also got rid of Bush's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, so now we are on a roll undoing his mess.
Wrong President. It was Bill Clinton who signed it into law. George Bush was governor of Texas at that time. Don't Ask, Don't Tell was also from Bill Clinton.
I got a chuckle out of this when I saw it on Twitter:
"Today, the left celebrated when the Supreme Court sided with the Koch brothers to strike down a law signed by President Bill Clinton."
Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Clinton, Clinton, Clinton, Empress Clinton..."Who cares? They're all dead anyway!"
Too Bad the only way to prevent the Clintonian Revival seems to be a Tragic Plane Crash.
