So far today, we've biked 6 miles, kayaked on the pond, tossed a football around, and played poker (I owe him about six years of chores at this point). We had bacon and pancakes for breakfast, grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, and burgers and hot dogs planned for dinner.
And tomorrow we drop Baby Girl G. off at Girl Scout camp - we are appeasing the outdoor spirits...

As long as you pick her up afterwards, the spirits will probably go easy on you. And, in her absence you should probably go easy on them, too. :)

A bad day camping beats a good day at work anytime.
A good day camping - especially with your children - is pretty close to paradise.

Have fun, and remember. At the NRA convention you and old NFO get actual rooms at Casa de Crash Pad, everyone else will have to get tents in the yard.
