Not ready to say why quite yet, but I find myself in need of a specific firearm for an upcoming review.
Does anyone out there in the gunnie blogosphere happen to have a Mossberg 590 12 gauge shotgun with 18" barrel?
I've got the 22" barreled version, and would prefer not to muck around with the one I have. I'm contemplating buying a new 590 in the above configuration, although I'm not ruling out getting an 18" barrel for my current 590. It's one of those things, though - if I can find a used gun for a decent price (or a trade...), I'd much rather have two guns than one!
Anyhoo, if you happen to have one of the above and are looking to get rid of it, give me a holler - maybe we can work something out!
That is all.

Not very many of those. Most of the 590s I've seen are in the 20 inch barrel length with the long magazine tube. I believe the 18.5" 590s are mostly 5+1 guns.
Close as I can get is the Maverick 88 Security with the 18" barrel...but it's not quite in stock configuration.
Of course, it's not so far gone it can't be switched back.
I've got that exact shotgun in the 18" variety. No really looking to part with it tho...
It's that whole "get rid of" thing that's working against you. I've got a Mossy 500 with 18" barrel, and I'd be happy to loan it to you, but you can't HAVE it.
You know mine is 14". You teasing me , man?
My 590A1 is 20" with the SpeedFeed stock, big tube and ghost ring sights. And it's not going anywhere!
