Heh. Now that I've set your wayback machine to 1984 and WarGames, what I want to know is, what's missing in this picture:
Yeah, caught this guy in front of me for a good chunk of the ride home. Kinda surprised he made it as far as he did in that condition. I was behind him for a good 5+ miles, and at no point did he appear to care about the error inherent to his vehicle.
So, who can guess what's wrong with the picture?
That is all.

No plate on the rear
No plate.
Definitely no license plate although around here that isn't too unusual. I got rear ended several years ago by a guy who was driving on a suspended license (2nd DUI) and who wasn't paying the fine payments he was ordered to make. The car had no insurance nor license plates. He drove from our area 100 miles north to Lexington Ky during the day and back without a license plate only to rear end me at an intersection where I had been stopped at midnight because my wife failed to put her renewal sticker on the license plate of her car.
So it took me a while to figure out what the problem was. And the 20 year old kid was simply ordered to start making his partial payments on the fine from the DUI. Took a bank robbery to get something sort of like serious punishment.
that is legal in some states, and AFAIK vehicles legality was based on the home state rule....
Of course if it is really legal in the home state, or just someone without a plate... I mean, I'd assume the fine for no plate is much less than that for illegal attachment !
I don't see anything wrong with the CAR, but I don't see a plate. Don't know if that's it.
Steve Jobs never had a plate on his car.
Twice I've had the rear plate stolen off my vehicle. (Two different vehicles, at that.) In WA, you're required to have front and rear, but the registration tag only goes on the rear - and so if you're tooling around in a stolen or unregistered car, yoinking a "good" plate will let you get away with it a bit longer.
(Unless LEO runs the plate and finds that it really belongs on a fugly green Buick, and not the sweet Honda you "found".)
I confess, I mentally said the title to this post in Joshua's voice.
