Irishdoh: Me too. But the Kindle app for PC and smartphones is free. It's probably available for Mac OS as well, if you're into that sort of thing.
Tom's guide to holsters was really informative. That's where I learned about Old Faithful holsters, which you can buy in kit form and save a few bucks.

There is a free ebook management program called calibre that also does format conversions. I'm pretty sure it can convert Kindle to Nook format.
