See? There are three 3" barreled revolvers all in a (different) caliber starting with ".3X"...
On the left we have a Smith & Wesson model 13 in .357 Magnum; on the right we have a Colt Detective Special in .38 Special on top and an Iver Johnson top-break .38 S&W on the bottom. Three revolvers, all with 3" barrels, all three chambered in calibers that start with "3". 333! Wally was going to check if his Glock model 33 was a third generation (turns out, it was) as a backup, but I think this works just as well.
Now, if I could find two mode Smith & Wesson model 34s for next week's pic...

Technically, they're all the same caliber... because that's independent of chambering.
38SW uses a larger diameter projectile than .38/357.
Now you have me craving a 3" 38Super you know (.356")
Guess if I hit the lottery this weekend, I'll have to turn up a Detonics combat master!
I can always send you a picture of a 3" S&W 317 . . .
Nor next week, Iknow where you could get some photos of two Glock 34s. One has been dressed-up with a new finish, the other is nearly stock (sights changed).
