Aaron has the monthly round-up of gun contests.
There are a LOT of contests running right now, a lot of quality firearms available to be won. I think we're starting to see somewhat of a return to normal, where guns are starting to show back up on shelves at something resembling normal prices. I've seen lower parts kits for under $40 (minus pistol grip) - but more importantly, they're in stock.
Ammo is slowly but surely showing back up on shelves, at prices that aren't *too* much worse than they were ten months ago. Sure, it's not the $9/box of 550 rounds of .22LR from the mid-2000s, but neither is gasoline $2/gallon any more, either. Some of us bought a lot of ammo when it was cheap, figuring that it could only get more expensive - and it did.
So, go enter the contests - and pick up a box of ammo when you can, too!
That is all.

$30 for 500 .22lr is still too much. Waiting for that to come down to sub $20
NJT: YOU HAVE .22LR? ROAD TRIP!
Seriously, I concur with Jay. At least up here on the NorthCoast, Firearms and Accessories are readily available, but still a bit pricey. It's the Ammo that's a pain. Still being Rationed, still Over-priced.
