It helps if you have a blue car, and its one of the few driving songs that doesn't make you want to put your foot down.

More relaxing tunes for the routine of going 80+ for hours upon hours in the wide open like Montana or parts of the western Great Basin. I think too many easterner's versions of 'driving songs' relate round the claustrophobic spaces in which getting to drive really fast is something exciting and unusual, instead of something normal and approaching the mundane.
I'm guessing that Oregon, where you can't (legally) do over 55 and aren't even trusted to pump your own gas, the road songs are more along the lines of the infernal Hamster Dance or something done by that awful purple dinosaur.
