On this day in history, Rome was founded. I like that. The Red Baron was killed in action. Not too sure on that one. The Battle of San Jacinto occurred today. And in 1980, Rosie Ruiz faked everyone out and claimed to have won the Boston Marathon. She hopped on the subway, got off near the end of the race, and waited until she could see other competitors just starting to clear. Bravo, Rosie. You certainly got your 15 minutes...
