I'd like to continue what I consider to be a cherished tradition. I would like very much for there to be a seventh Northeast Blogger Shoot.. At press time I have not been able to confirm with Doubletrouble about the availability of the range, but I'll make a leap of faith that it will be okay.
I'll be driving up from VA, so I'll be limited in both what I can bring and what I can do to assist in preparation, so if folks wanted to help DoubleTrouble I would take that as a kindness as well. With that said, here's the standard format:
What? Seventh Annual Northeast Bloggershoot
Who? Any and all bloggers, commenters, readers,
lurkers, etc. in the Northeast area, or those passing through, or anyone
crazy enough to show up.
When? Saturday, August 2nd. The following two weekends are right out for me, so it's either the 2nd, or nada.
Where? Why, Doubletrouble's sooper seekrit range, of course!
Why? Shootin' stuff is fun? Trying out new hardware is
fun? Getting together with a couple dozen of your tribe, combined with
guns and reactive targets, is a recipe for a good time!
And, the standard caveat:
As with every year, this is a "pack-in, pack-out" shoot - if you want to
bring a 1:1 scale papier mache model of the Lunar Rover to shoot the hell out of, go right
ahead. Just be prepared to drag the bullet-riddled carcass out with
you. We can call the sub shop for lunch, but someone should step up to
take care of the lunch order so Mrs. Doubletrouble doesn't have to deal
with that again...
Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
That is all.

As long as Mr. and Mrs. DoubleTrouble don't mind me crossing the property line again, I'm in.
Yay!! this is the highlight of my summer.
Mrs. doubletrouble
In. Maybe with a special guest with special toys.
We are in, and I promise to dig deep into the vault to bring some special goodies.
We are are in, of course!
Maybe by then my BAG day gun that was ordered in Feb will be in.
Wally, I promise this time I'll look you up for a face chat. Sorry I missed you last time.
Jay,
I'm in. Probably Alan too. He's got a couple new goodies to bring, plus he converted the BREN to run on 7.62x54r for big-core semi-auto fun on the cheap !!!!

Jay,
Alan here.....and I'm in. As Brad said I have a few new toys and I got most of the kinks out of the Bren.....
Cheers, Alan
Whoo-hoo! I can finally participate in the bayonet charge, and if I get off my bum and build the lower I won, have an AR to play with too!
And as good a chance as ever to make another long drive in the Zombie Truck!
Please e-mail me if the address is not for public disclosure. Thanks!
Maybe... Gotta check the schedule...
I'm in
Yes. But someone else gets to pick the Restaurants for Friday and Saturday.
Hey, maybe I can actually attend this one! Jay, please add me to the list.
If the timing works out, are there any objections to my bringing my fourteen-year-old?
Thanks for taking the trouble to make this happen, Jay!!
Actually, make that me + 2. :-)
And we need to keep track of any exotic toys that are coming, to make sure appropriate ammo is available.
Is anyone going to be driving up to the Bloggershoot from the Boston area?
PJS: I'm in the Boston area. (My handle is accurate.)
Not 100% sure I can make it at this point, but I'll sure try. Contact me separately and we can work out arrangements. tallbass at gmail dot com.
Thanks, Daniel. I'll e-mail you!
Yippity dippity doo dah, I was hoping to hear it would be on. I am in and if ,my son can make it, so is he. I am willing to drive up a day early to help out if need be to prepare the range or whatever. Let me know when you pick the town where will be meeting up for dinner so I can make a hotel reservation. Think I stayed in Nashua last year but darned if I recall for sure. Also let me know if 10 pounds of binary compound that goes boom when mixed would be welcome (not for all at once unless okay with the neighbors). We could certainly make several smaller booms if that would be okay. Howdie dowdie doo, hooray and yahoooooooo.
Can you tell I like these things and the folks who attend!
All the best,
Glenn B
